About us

Quality training for your business.

We build practical, concise training for small and medium businesses. No fluff, no hour-long modules that nobody finishes. Just well-designed learning that respects your time and gives you what you actually need.

We know training often gets pushed down the priority list. Other pressures take over, and finding time for learning, let alone fitting it around team schedules, is harder than it should be. That is why everything we build is self-paced so you and your staff can stop and start as needed.

We believe concise, focused, well-designed learning is the best way to learn and we have built The Learning Playlist around that belief.

Who we are

The Learning Playlist team.

The Learning Playlist was founded by two people who between them bring expertise in learning design, human resources, marketing, and workplace compliance. Our backgrounds span small business, large organisations, government, and everything in between.

We built this business because we saw a real gap: quality, legally grounded workplace training that is actually designed for the way small businesses operate. Not adapted from corporate frameworks. Built from scratch for businesses like yours.

Why we built this

This started with lived experience.

But this is not just about good learning design. Like a lot of people, we experienced psychosocial hazards in the workplace long before we knew what to call them. These hazards grind you down over time in ways that make you question yourself and erode your confidence.

When the psychosocial regulations came into effect, it felt significant. There was specific terminology and legislation that said: this matters, employers have obligations, and workers have rights.

People need to understand the legislation to cause change and both the employers who have a legal requirement to manage the hazards and the workers who deserve to know their responsibilities and what a safe workplace looks like.

With our powers of Learning Design and HR combined, we are on a mission to be the everyday voice that teaches the importance of psychosocial safety.

That is why The Learning Playlist exists.

What we stand for

How we build every piece of learning.

Practical and clear

Our learning focuses on real-world application, uses plain language, and is learner-focused, meaning we are always thinking about how you will learn the topic best.

Learning that respects your time

We design every module to be as short as it can be without impacting learning, because your time has real value to both your business and your loved ones.

Quality you can trust

Every course we build is researched, referenced and grounded in current legislation and evidence. We do the hard work so you can learn with confidence.
